The Food and Wine Festival is developed mainly as a promotional activity which aims to promote, outside our borders, our food and wine, valuing local, authentic and original products, as the stand-out elements of the destination.
For the third consecutive year, at the El Timple de Canarias House Museum we have the “Canaries Products House”, an interactive experience of the jewels of the Canarian gastronomy. It is a place where both the general and professional public can enjoy pairings, tastings and explanations by experts on cheeses, wines, olive oils, coffee, potatoes, sweet potatoes, lentils, onions… all of them being, 100% produce of the Canaries. This experience is thanks to the support of the rest of the islands of the archipelago from the Ministry of Tourism, the Canarian Institute of Agri-Food Quality (ICCA) and the company GMR Canarias, of the regional government.
We especially mention an area dedicated to the Canary Islands, where a total of 9 restaurants representing each of the islands will carry out showcooking and they provide a taste of a careful selection of their gastronomy, with traditional recipies and other more innovative ones.
