The V Food and Wine Festival ‘Taste Lanzarote’ was held on 28 and 29 November in the centre of La Villa de Teguise, incorporating as significant novelties with respect to past editions a space that housed 10 stands with the presence of restaurantes from all of the islands of the Canary Archipelago, under the umbrella of the embryonic project ‘Taste the Canaries‘, undertaken by the regional government, as well as a new area for local producers called ‘The Producer’s Market‘.

The Festival featured in the area called the ‘Gastro Market‘ with over 60 points of sale – including those covered by Taste the Canaries – installed by the main restaurants, wineries, cheese factories, artisan makers and producers of the island and the Canary Islands, highlighting the novelty that this year represented the incorporation of a new space where the products could be purchased directly by chefs and visitors.
